Liverpool FC have told Barcelona that they will have to shell out £127m if they want to sign Philippe Coutinho in the January transfer window, according to reports in Spain.

Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, as quoted by the Daily Express, is reporting that the Reds are demanding the huge transfer fee from the Spanish club, who are thought to be still keen on signing the Brazilian attacker.
Barcelona were relentlessly linked with a move to land Coutinho in the final few weeks of the summer transfer window but a switch did not materialise in the end.
The same report claims that Liverpool FC have told Barcelona that they would want a £127m (€145m) fee for Coutinho to sell him in the mid-season transfer window.
The story also suggests that talks between Liverpool FC and the Spanish side are ongoing as the January transfer window draws ever nearer.

Barcelona are said to want a deal to sign Coutinho from Liverpool FC “wrapped up” by the end of the January window.

Coutinho himself was keen on a move to Camp Nou in the summer but he has since re-focused on Premier League affairs and has been in top form for Jurgen Klopp’s team this season
